It had been a while since I went to the doctor, and I couldn’t put it off any longer. My wife strongly encouraged me to go. “You have to make an appointment with the doctor. I’m too busy to worry about you going to the doctor too. If I have to ask you to go, you will regret it.”

I often told my doctor that we could have been friends, except for all that examining hanging over our heads. It sort of sets a friendship off on the wrong foot, you know?
Yes – I do know. That’s exactly what I mean. We are definitely on the same page with this one.
Hopefully this check-up gives you some insight into what we women go through for our annual checkups. There’s nothing more disturbing than to sit in those paper gowns and have the dr talk to you like it’s just another day.
I don’t care how you take this, but I don’t want to know.
